But, I may have joined the server much later than whatever issues between other players and him began, so I can never know the whole story.
Next time just stop intervening in the middle of a situation that don't concern you just to cover your precious friend, look things in the eye, shows reflection and discernment and you will understand that there is no reason to defend him personally, if players are complaining everytime, report him there are probably a major problem that he cause, it's a fact. If he was mature, responsible and right he would have first act as a good player to respect himself and his place in the server which is not the case, all what he's doing is mostly stay idle for flooding the chat constantly, badmouthing, insulting everybody, spit on the server, talking, hypocritically and bully players sometime, and revoting constantly the same maps to annoy players that DON'T WANT to play his map overeplayed as much ! Also if his problems with players were serious he would be responsible like I told him many times to report the ones that cause problem in the forum, but he never did, instead that he prefer keeping flood the chat to keep drama and spit on others, to be the center of attention that's not serious at all, as much to spend time hidden by changing again and again nickname, skin to continue his troll and his bullshits. Now he was warned about his troll behavior : Blocked a lift in purpose to troll, insulted players and admin then players saw him in front to block the lift with his head, we told him to move and stand back he refused a second time and insulted DMTCH, several days after he said '' lift doesn't worked '' so a liar irresponsible that troll and refuse to listen admin. He was warned now.
