Steps to reproduce are unclear.
Sometimes there are monsters displayed not in their actual location, including radar.
Shooting them leads to nothing.
But, if you shoot somewhere else (like empty corners), and it matches to actual location, they die normally.
Also they can see (and shoot at) you from real location but you can't see them
This issue happens rarely, on some specific maps, and when said monster walks or teleports to specific locations they seem to glitch out

Re: Monster sometimes displayed in wrong location
I guess that's a replication issue: your local UT tries to predict movements of players, NPCs, projectiles and other movable objects, but that is in case of differences adjusted and corrected by the server periodically. Each UT client/server connection has 1024 channels to communicate, and if there is a heavy load because of a lot of things to update some may be left out and the local predicted location is different to that what the server "thinks".

Re: Monster sometimes displayed in wrong location
Yeah this happened yesterday on one of the maps I played and the only way to fix it is let one of the Mercenaries go through the invisible spawn portal where they are stuck. You have to act fast and shoot them. This can be replicated if a merc is standing in the spawning area and another one accidentally goes in the spawning portal, clipping into each other instead of telefragging. That's what I understood from what I saw

Yes this and also some other map (first discovered about half a year ago) – can't tell its name yet
It featured large room with water pools in start whoch looked like some docks, then some trenches/caves, followed with smaller room with water (and monsters in water also), and in the end there was like castle with orange-red colors.
